The Kissing Polish
The duo classical guitar concert in Pruszków was great. A lot of beautiful spanish music and of course, my students are so sweet to be with. The weekend weather was smashing except for right now as it's raining. Just as well, because I am sure the earth needs it. How unfortunately that I have chosen this morning to wear flip-flops to German class or more specifically, flip-flops with socks. Yuck!
Some news about my voice lessons! For starters my voice teacher kissed me yesterday. No, not the handsome one (unfortunatley! LOL)! The lady one! Don't ask me her name because I don't remember. It took me three weeks to finally fingure out that professor Moroz's first name is Mikołaj. Anyway, he wasn't even in my lesson today because he was sick which means I only had the lady chic. She didn't know that Moroz had given me Brahms and she even said that she didn't think I had the voice for it (to spite what Moroz said). She found out while we were singing it, however, that there is something inside of me that CAN do it! She was so pleased that she said she wants me to sing for the German lieder master class we will have in April. Can you believe it! And she was so happy that I had learned everything and that I was speaking to her in Polish (a little) that she give me a hug and kissed me. I felt so loved and so special I could have cried!
The rest of the day was as follows: I took the train back to Podkowa, gave a test, had a private lesson, and one normal lesson. Well, this lesson wasn't so normal because I made them a cake, but they deserved it. This is my class with the Twins and Chris who took me to the guitar concert. They are taking me to another concert on Friday after our Bible study. This one will be Spanish piano music. Then they want me to see Lord of the Rings on Saturday night... but I don't know if I will go. Still, these guys are great... even though I don't think I will be kissing them anytime soon! :)
