Oh Christmas Tree!

I was at the sink this afternoon doing the dishes when Vicky, never being able to bear any kind of silence, pops in my "Songs for Swingin' Lovers" cassette by Frankie that she stole from me before I went to Poland. It is an album my step-brother Matt accidentally left in my car and since I had already listened to my James Taylor tape a million times, I made the switch to Frankie. As a result of which, just like Rod and Patti, Vicky now really likes Frankie too. So today, listening to those tunes again was just like I was driving in my Taurus on route 6, somewhere in north central Pennsylvania crowing along with Frankie. Hot sun, air conditioning strong, and the roads all one big mirage. Now we have snow, winter, and cold, but at least Frankie found me today and took me back for a bit.

Four women under one roof really is a recipe for disaster. It’s a loose-loose situation here in Souderton and I am looking for a means of escape because counting to 10 and deep breaths are not helping!

We put up the Christmas tree this evening.

Some of our ornaments have a lot of sentimental value. Some remind us of our childhood,

and others of scariest parts of our past.

More over it's just a nice opportunity to spend tormenting family.

I have to smile thinking how sinful Christmas and Christmas trees are in Poland for Adventist Families. They don’t celebrate Christmas, but they do eat meat and wear jewelry. Which would you rather?

I can’t seem to beat this jet lag which might explain my raccoon like appearance in all photographs. Perhaps sleep will come better in Wyalusing as we try to head up in that direction tomorrow, weather permitting.
