If You're Gonna Die!

Addictions. I have so many and such a wide range of them. My latest as of about 3 days is hot chocolate from the NesCafe Machine at school. I must have drunk 3 of those bad boys today with the cream on top. Tsk! Tsk! Very naughty Dolly! But I figured it was okay in the end since I ate neither breakfast or dinner today and as always when I am consuming more calories than I know I should, I always assure myself of burning them off later. How true that was today...

I got the tar kicked out of me in Characterization class! Isn't this cool?

Consequently, Yeoi Yung and Aer Ran also got the tar kicked out of them.



Question: If should one take praise with a grain of salt the same as critisizm? Or is there a different condement/mineral we can use? Because apparently I made an impression on Pani Chojnacka yesterday during my Vocal Exam and she has been talking about me in classes I do not even attend. I don't know about stage presence, but I have always felt comfortable infront of people, more so when I am singing, and the most ever as of late. Chojnacka told all the dancing classes today that we all could learn a thing or two from how relaxed and expressive I am on stage. Is that cool or what??? And then she told me that I remind her of some Broadway singer and she could see me having a career on Broadway. But don't worry, she did her share of balancing me out by telling me that the framing of my hair didn't completely suit the lining and angles of my outfit- she is really particular (and probably right. But my hair is my security, man!) Needless to say, dancing exams went well today and I think, thought this may be pulling a "mother superior" again, that "this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship." ;)

After dance class I scarfed down a justified chocolate tea and ran off to work in Milanowek. Did I mention it was like cold as a mug today? I am sure it goes without saying, but let me assure you, it was pretty cold, snow and all. Peter Lazar the mind reader has just sent me the official temp which is 16 F, feeling more like 4. Anyway, it was another great episode of "The Dolly Show" in Milanowek trying to explain terms such as "romping and frolicking" as well as "creepy and chilling". Being car-less and since the WKD only runs once an hour from Milanowek, Pani Lyszkowska (aka Mrs. Spoon) usually takes me home by car afterwork. She KNOWS I have no other way and whats more, she knows I am mobile phone-less. So how she forgot about me and left me to find my own means of transportation home tonight, I'll never know, but let's just say I think I successfully worked off a week's worth of hot chocolate when I decided to hoof it home. We can also say that now my Italian boots are really broken in. It took me an hour and 20 minutes to walk home during the course of which I sang the RVW's entire song cycle "songs of the wayfarer" as well as other selections from my vocal exams, past and present. My biggest worry was not so much rappists, abductors, and theives as much as my poor feet freezing off. But I tell you I think God was watching out for me right down to my feet. Such experiences I suppose are exactly what Miss Carlson meant in her comment by "grabbing life by the balls." However I read in Deuteronomy today, should I do such a thing I would have to have my hand cut off. Deut 25:11-12
