Mother Superior: Not the only woman to have "jumped the gun"

How can I begin to articulate the heartbreak in finding last night, as I finished 5 hours of English lessons and looked forward to nothing more than checking my email, that the Internet fix was quite temporary. No one knew what the problem was, David Pawlak was no where to be found, and I give up. So folks, I don't know when there will be a connection, and I don't know if it will ever be stable. Honestly, the walls to my building could come tumbling down on me in the night and I would not be suprised one bit.

It is freezing cold today!!!! One of those mornings where my feet froze to the pavement. Lucky for me, getting off the WKD in Warsaw I ran into my very fun, homosexual friend Daniel, as I often do on a Tuesday morning. Now, the only reason I have classified Daniel is to help you understand what kind of fun he is. The kind of guy you can cling to on a tram platform and continue clinging to the whole walk to the academy and never have to worry what he is thinking about it! My kind of guy! Then we get to the academy and the first thing he does is buy my coffee. I have decided not only does everyone need a homosexual male friend, but quite frankly I need more of them! Their significant others will never worry that I am a threat, they will never be alarmed by how much I will hang on them, hug them, kiss them, and I will never need worry about breaking the barriers of platonicism. Eureka!!!! So I am proclaiming today "go hug your homosexual friend day and thank him for being homosexual."

In other news, thank you Sharon Enevoldson for the instant Quaker oatmeal (because you all know there is no one hotter than the Quaker Oatmeal man--- well almost!) and for the orgasmic chocolate chip cookies. Pardon the adjective here, but I really had to wonder about my friend Monika and her reaction to the cookies upon trying them for the first time in her life. The DVD player also made it and Monika is enjoying it very much.

Monika didn't like the cookies?! Or she liked them even more than you? ;)

I'm glad you have so many excellent friends, so this isn't the place to mention Sodom and Gomorrah, huh...;)))))) Well, we can all hope at least that you'll have a very positive influence on everyone you encounter!

Doll, are you going to get a phone now or not? Just curious because I do want to be able to contact you. Anyway, have a marvelously fantastic day and I hope to see you soon.

Dolly, do you really mean what you said in the second paragraph?
Why do you want to cling to (+ hug and kiss) guys at all? Isn't clinging to gals even safer and less worrisome? ;-) Relationship without responsibility?? That doesn't sound like you. Or maybe I didn't listen carefully enough ... ;-))
Don't you think you view men in a superficial and stereotypical way? ;-)

Dolly, I can only imagine how you felt yesterday writing your blog. We love you and want the best for you even if we are imperfect in showing it and even if we have our own fears and uncertainties.
May God give you peace of mind during your exam today! :-) DP

Dolly dearest,

This is the first time I've been on your site--I finally got the url from Jeremy--and it's official: You, Dolly Ann Porawski, are my hero! I can't even imagine integrating as well as you have into a completely new country, and you sound more well-adjusted,grab-life-by-the-balls-and-make-it-yours, than I could imagine. Honestly, your posts make life sound like such an adventure over there! And your writing has me convinced that, combined with your knack for music and languages, you lucked out in the talent lottery with way more than your share. I knew you were awesome before, but now I am even more blown away. You are truly a "masterpiece" ;) if you get my inside LLC meaning.

What are your plans, Dolly? Are you staying in Poland forever? I believe I heard camp is not in your future this summer. I have to admit, as much as I love LLC, were I experiencing the same adventurous life that you are, I may have to opt for staying in Europe as well. You'll have to give me a brief catch-up on your life as a whole, although I do love to read your day-to-day existence in your posts.

Take care of yourself and hug a homosexual friend for me. I agree with you, that is something we all need, and this I know from the real-life experience of watching "Will and Grace." ;) Have a marvelous day.

SERIOUSLY! with Katie all the way down at the stable u only see her maybe once a day because early in the morning shes bringing the horses in and for class she's teaching. What ever am I going to do? We love you DOLLY!! we need you as much as they need you in Poland! EVEN MORE!! I mean look! u have people who don't even have a computer/internet at their house taking time out of their day just to read your blogs! :D Love to you! now time for msn!!
