W Polsce
I'm back in Poland again. Didn't think I was going to make it this time. My Polish Dad picked me up at 2:30 pm Thursday afternoon because he was so worried about traffic and weather. We made suprisingly great time however, so I sat in the airport before my flight left for over 3 hours. I bought some books to keep me company though (I have such a weakness): I made it through "A Window Across The River" by Brian Morton which I finished just as the plane was taking off, and for later I have "The Idiot" by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, and "The Best American Short Stories 2004" for some inspiration to get cracking on my own memoirs and such. I was planing on reading them on the plane, and everything was going good until I ate dinner, and after that it wasn't very pretty at all. Let's just say it was like a "Herring Experience" all over again- the first time I have had to puke and didn't have Bryce there to hold my hair. Just horrible. Then, thanks to a shortage of luggage people causing our late take off in New York, I almost missed my connecting flight in Zurich. Praise God I didn't. However, they did loose some of my luggage, but I am not too stress because they are dropping it off tomorrow morning. Just as well, one less thing to unpack.
I hate packing and unpacking.
Mike and "Hero of the night" Maciej picked me up from the airport and took me to Podkowa where I unpacked and took a nap that turned into more or less just going to bed for the night. That was around 5 or so, hence the reason why I am now up at 4 am. But I am already feeling better, broke my fever and have been able to keep down some liquids so I am not so dehydrated. I still have a little headache though, but I hope it will be gone in the morning.
I miss the States and all the wonderful people I love there (sniff, sniff).
My Hot Brother
Here we have my sister break dancing, something we love to do in my family.
Equally as funny in my opinion is Vicky's first Halvah experience.
I don't know why they don't appreciate the very thing I love!
