Korean Sandwich
My concert last night went ok. I sang between two Korean girls who sang a Brahms song cycle and a Dvorak song cycle, respectively. I sang "Youth and Love" by RVW, Zlota Rybka by S. Moniuszko, Meadow Larks by Amy Beach, and an aria from Dvorak's Rusalka. It could have been better in many aspects- definitely not as fine a performance as my jury- not even close. For sure I sing better in bigger rooms where the audience is farther away. This is the room where the concert was in.
I am not posting any pictures of myself in the concert because I don't like the way I look in any of them. But I did have quite a smashing dress (that looks more smashing on the hanger than on me).
Afterwards, Peter treated Kris and I to Pizza Hut!!! What a guy! And I was more than happy to accompany both of them in their 3-piece suits. Ach! Nothing can compare to a Pole in a 3-piece suit. We spied some customers sharing 1 coke with 2 straws and almost had a cow remember our last experience and all the hassle we received over it. So this time we did it again, being most overt in our rebellion.
