Self Proclaimed Snow Day
It's not like I didn't try to go to school today, but after waiting on the stationary WKD for almost 30 minutes , I decided to ditch Warsaw and head home. Instead of giving us any news as to what had happened, the Conductor instead kept dashing frantically in and out of his little control room in the first car, avoiding the passengers questions as to what was up. It wasn't until I was back in Podkowa that I discovered there had been an accident 5 stops up causing the congestion. Oh well! I can be even more productive here at home, heaven knows I have hours of Polish homework and the folks back home in the good ol' US of A haven't heard from me since I lost my mobile phone 3 months ago, so I should probably write some letters as well. MAK is happy for the company, that's for sure.
Other than the disruption of normal plans, which is one of my biggest pet peeves of all time, I quite like this weather. Especially in Podkowa, falling snow adds a dreamy, romantic element to daily events.
Walking back from the train I was overcome with the desire to just dive into the accumulative mounds and cover myself in snow in order to be as emersed in all this white wonder as possible. Skirt and boots don't really allow for that. As I passed Adasz, my 10 year old private student leaving the seminary I said in English 'Adasz! It's snowing!' and he said 'Don't worry!' Out of the two of us, he is luckier today. For the first time, I wished I could be 10 years old again just so I could roll around in the snow. After Greg Church and his side kick "squirrel" used to come plow our drive way back in Pennsylvania on snowy days, Patti, Vicky and I, all under 11 or 10, used to make massive tunnels and caves in the pushed piles of snow. We had a lot of fun. And on a few other occasions I can remember times when even Mom held herself together long enough to be outside with us, usually to shovel the drive way, and then the hot tea that would follow as we warmed ourselves up inside, our snow pants, coats, and gloves tumbling in the dryer. Perhaps I will go capture some of that again today, forget how old I am and go dive in the snow. Perhaps. But it might be more fun if I had some sisters here to play with. ;)

Dolly!! my aunts that are between 34-45 still play in the snow!!every year except this one they all come over and go tubing and have snow ball fights and everything! so you're never too old to play in snow! not unless u can't move to through a ball...
I am not your sister but we could have lots of fun with snow if I didn't have to stay at home. :(

Know what dress colors highlight your hair, your eyes and your skin tone, and what style lines are most flattering for your body type. Buy your Prom Dresses to fit and flatter your current figure; it wouldn?t be safe to buy a smaller size if you?re still hoping to lose weight by prom night. You want a fit that skims the body with enough ease to move comfortably and gracefully.
